May 7, 2024, was a record-breaking day for our community. In its 11th year, Give For Good, created by Community Foundation of North Louisiana, raised $2,940,339 for 222 area nonprofits.  This is the greatest total raised since the event began in 2014 and surpasses the 2023 record of $2.75 million. Give For Good is an annual online giving day that invites everyone to participate in philanthropy and have a hand in transforming our community.

“Give for Good provides the entire community an opportunity to participate in philanthropy and collectively express our love for North Louisiana,” says CFNLA CEO Kristi Gustavson. “Once again citizens pulled together to support hundreds of programs enhancing the quality of life in our area or providing vital support for those in need.  We sincerely thank all who participated in Give for Good 2024!”

Over $2.9 million was raised through 9,068 gifts from 4,300 donors to support 222 area nonprofits.  Since inception, the annual event has now raised over $22 million for our community. Donors participating in Give For Good chose from nonprofits who provide services ranging from healthcare to education to the arts. As an extra incentive, all gifts are amplified by the Lagniappe Fund, a bonus pool that matches donations on a pro rata basis.
