Transforming community through philanthropy.

LINCC

The Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations (LANO) and The Community Foundation of North Louisiana have partnered to create a geographic database of nonprofit organizations and local community needs and resources in north Louisiana (Caddo Parish, Bossier Parish, and Desoto Parish).

This online database, known as the Louisiana Initiative for Nonprofit and Community Collaboration or LINCC, is a web-based community platform for collaboration and action to strengthen the nonprofit sector. LINCC adds to an existing national dataset created by the Washington, DC-based National Center for Charitable Statistics (NCCS) that combines federal reporting data with mapping software to provide the most accurate view of the nonprofit sector nationwide. LINCC brings community resources together through one web portal, providing data, knowledge and interactive tools for effective analysis and collaboration between nonprofits, government, funders, and other stakeholders.

Donors of The Community Foundation have exclusive access to "The Informed Donor" web portal. This access will take you to the page where you will find information on 25 nonprofit organizations, in particular categories as well as unique analyses such as Financial Ratios & Tables and Peer Analyses. To access this information, please email Jennifer Steadman (steadman@cfnla.org) to recieve login creditials.
