We are again devastated by the flooding disasters in our state. The Foundation's Disaster Relief Fund will support recovery efforts both locally and throughout our state. As our community continues to recover from flooding in March, our hearts go out to those in South Louisiana who are impacted by the flooding. Donations to the Foundation's Disaster Relief Fund will help continue rebuilding efforts locally and throughout our state.
Below is a list of community foundations in South Louisiana that are accepting monetary donation to aid in the recovery of the flooding:
Baton Rouge Area Foundation - The Flood Relief Fund will make grants to nonprofits that are caring for needs of our neighbors, and with long-term recovery of South Louisiana.
Northshore Community Foundation -The Northshore Weather Relief Fund will disperse funds as quickly as possible to those most in need in our area of Tangipahoa, Washington, St. Helena and St.Tammany Parishes.
Greater New Oreleans Foundation - Activated by the Mayor of New Orleans in partnership with the Greater New Orleans Foundation, the NOLA Pay It Forward Fund: Helping Families in Neighboring Parishes will provide resources for the early relief and rebuilding efforts of those communities impacted by the recent floods.
Community Foundation of Acadiana - Acadiana Disaster Response Fund will work closely with federal, state and local agencies as well as nonprofit organizations and churches to benefit those affected.
