Step Forward’s Growing Children Celebration

Step Forward, Humana Healthy Horizons in Louisiana, and the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Louisiana present the first Growing Children’s Celebration. This event is for families with children from birth to third grade in Caddo Parish. The purpose of the event is to shine light on the importance of early learning and kindergarten readiness. During the event, children will be engaged through fun activities provided by organizations servicing families and children in Caddo Parish and surrounding communities. Parents and caregivers will be given the opportunity to learn first hand how to engage with their children to foster brain development while being able to celebrate their young child’s developmental journey. Each family will leave the event with an extensive knowledge on resources provided by community organizations to ensure that each family in our community has all access and every opportunity to thrive.
